Your Data, Storage and Backup
Your counter data (counters, categories, goals, challenges, automations and logs) is stored on your device. We do not send your counter data to our servers, and we never use it for advertising.
Automatic backup. If Android Backup is enabled on your device (Settings > Google > Backup), the app relies on Android's built-in backup system to store an encrypted copy of your data in your own Google account (Google Drive). This copy resides in your account, is governed by Google's Privacy Policy, and we have no access to it. It is used only to restore your data when you set up a new device or reinstall the app.
Private counters stay on your device. Counters you protect with a PIN or biometric unlock, together with your PIN/biometric settings, are never included in the automatic cloud backup and remain only on your device.
Manual backup. You can also export a full backup (including private counters) to a JSON file from Settings > Backup and store it wherever you like. That file is created and handled entirely by you.
Non-Personally Identifiable Information We Use
Android Advertising ID — an advertising ID is a non-persistent, resettable identifier of your device that is used for advertising and analytics purposes.
Notifications
Our app may request permission to send you local notifications. These notifications are used solely to inform you about updates, counters reaching certain values, or other automated actions that you configure within the app. We do not use notifications for advertising purposes without your explicit consent.
Third-Party Service Providers
The following third-party services may use the advertising ID within our app. Please review their privacy policies:
- Google Analytics for Firebase (usage analysis)
- Crashlytics (crash reporting)
- AdMob (advertising)
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may amend this Privacy Policy from time to time at our sole discretion. If we make material changes in the way we collect or use your personal information, the changes will be posted on this page 30 days prior to taking effect. We encourage you to stay informed by reviewing this Privacy Policy periodically.
